1. Bookings
Please
include the following details when you email:
1) Number
of guests and age of children
2) Starting
date of the visit (approximate time of arrival at airport)
3) Date
of departure (time of checking out)
Once a booking has been
confirmed, a deposit of 20% of the agreed rental is due. The
balance will be required on arrival. For bookings made less
than 2 weeks before the arrival date, the total amount is due.
No refunds of the
deposit for cancellations within 1 month of booking date, unless
we are able to re-let. You are strongly advised to cover this
with holiday insurance.
2. Payment
All payments can be made by any of the
following:
sterling
cheque, bank transfer, Euro cheque (under £200 each cheque),
travellers cheques, cash, credit card, PayPal. Foreign
currency cheques in major currencies will be accepted at current
exchange rates after any commission charges by the banks.
Please note that for security reasons credit
card reservations are taken only over the phone.
3. Security deposit
On
arrival, a security deposit of £100 will be charged to
cover the event of any damage other than ‘fair wear and tear’,
breakages, loss of items or excessive cleaning. However,
minor breakages will not be charged. This will be refunded on
the day of departure, after the inventory has been checked.
4. Arrivals & Departures
Our guests are free to
check in at any time on the day of arrival. There are no
charges for the last day provided guests vacate the property by
12 Noon. Extended stays are accepted subject to
availability. We meet our guests on arrival at the premises;
provide access and full information about the property and
surrounding area. At all times we assure our guests that their
comfort is our priority.
5. Liability
The proprietor and their
employees shall not be liable to you or any member of your party
for any personal injury or loss, or damage or loss to property,
however caused or sustained.
6.
Holiday
Accommodation
The property is available
for holiday accommodation only and is exempt from the security
of tenure under the Rent Act.
7.
“Well-behaved” children and
teenagers are welcome.
8.
The house is to be kept in good order and left clean and tidy on
vacating.
9.
We retain the right to enter the accommodation at any reasonable
time.
10.More
persons than originally booked must not occupy the
accommodation.
11.
In the event of unavoidable cancellation by the owners, the
liability of the owners will be limited to the full refund of
monies paid.
12.
All equipment within the accommodation should be used in
accordance with the description in our Guest Manual. This is
located within the accommodation.
13.
Any items requiring maintenance, repair or replacement will be
taken care as soon as possible. However, we cannot accept
responsibility for delay beyond our control. No refunds or discounts of the rental amount will be granted either for delays or inconvenience.
14. In the
interest of all guests we regret that we cannot accommodate
pets.
15. Any
complaint should be reported to the owners immediately.
